This program will first provide a basic groundwork for attorneys, landmen, and others who are relatively new to mineral title examination, review, and due diligence, or who could use a refresher. The program will then advance to cover more difficult mineral title topics, issues, and problems with separate tracks for intricate oil and gas and mining issues. Experienced presenters will address mineral conveyancing and reservation issues, split estate rights, royalty burdens and interpretations, title curative, due diligence. Presenters will also provide updates to the latest issues involving federal exploratory units, government leases, areas of mutual interest, and more.

This program is intended to assist attorneys, landmen, support staff and others involved in a wide array of mineral title review, examination, and due diligence projects. Like other Foundation programs, the course materials provided will include quality papers and other materials that will serve as invaluable reference resources.
