The significant amount of public lands and minerals across the western United States requires lawyers, landmen, and regulatory specialists to have a complete understanding of the relevant governing laws, regulations, and policies to effectively operate on such lands. The Foundation will once again hold a Special Institute on Public Land Law, Regulation, and Management to inform those engaged in mineral or commodity extraction, renewable energy, or infrastructure involving Federal lands and minerals. The program will build on the Foundation’s previous programs regarding public lands held in 1992, 1997, 2003, 2014, and 2017. With recent changes in administrations and the potential for even more changes in the coming years, this program is important for both advanced practitioners and those new to the field. Anyone with operations or activities on public lands, government officials, tribal leaders, academics, regulatory specialists, and public land practitioners should attend. We hope to see you in Santa Fe for another excellent program.
Join our expert faculty of current and former government officials, industry professionals, natural resources attorneys, academics, NGO attorneys, and administrative law experts for informative presentations and discussion. Experienced in-house, outside, or agency attorneys, and other resource professionals—and those who are relatively new to the practice—will benefit from the insights and experience of our distinguished speakers.
