This modern cultural center highlights the ancestral, historic, and current cultures of the Gila River Indian Community, made up of two tribes – the Akimel O’otham and the Pee Posh. The Phoenix Zoo

The Phoenix Zoo opened in 1962 and has grown to 125 acres of land, 2.5 miles of walking trails, and 1,200 animals. Camelback Mountain
